Best things to do in July 2025: Dubai plan your calendar

The summer season is barely a month old and already we have our first casualty &ndash;&nbsp;Little Black Door at the&nbsp;Conrad Hotel,&nbsp;Sheikh Zayed Road. The trendy speak easy has garnered a tidy collection of accolades since opening in February 2016 and has become a firm favourite among the more discerning nightlife crowd. Benefitting from ornate baroque-esque styling, a team of very knowledgeable mixologists capable of concocting some of the cities finest cocktails, a DJ booth and DJ programming that has been made the centre piece of the sprawling bar (my personal favourite) and a well-executed secret lounge concept, it is sad to see Little Black Door closing its little black doors for good.&nbsp;<br />
&nbsp;<br />
There is little information regarding the closure of this outlet at this point and it is a shame that it didn&rsquo;t get the send-off that it rightly deserved, let&rsquo;s just hope the next incarnation of this venue will retain the charm and style of its predecessor. RIP Little Black Door.<br />
