Dubai raises breast cancer awareness this month at these events

 

 

Women, help yourself and each other. Embrace your health where it matters the most and listen to your body as it will fail you not, only if you do! In 2024, more than 360,000 people will be diagnosed with breast cancer. However, there is hope, here and now and for the entirety of this month, we will raise awareness with hope and determination.

 

Advancements in early detection methods and support continue to increase the chances of survival. When caught in its earliest, localized stages, the 5-year relative survival rate of breast cancer is 99%. Dubai has its own way of highlighting this cause and we do what we do best to achieve this mission in an entertaining and uplifting way! Al Dhiyafa Grand Kitchen: Pinktober Brunch

IGNITE Pink is Punk is set to return to Dubai this October in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month - with three fun family-friendly events. On Saturday, October 5th, the annual IGNITE Pink is Punk Swim: Run returns to the beautiful Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort. This will be followed by the IGNITE Pink is Punk Pink Paddle, a stand-up paddleboard session, which will be held at RIVA Beach on October 12th. The third event, IGNITE Pink is Punk Moonlit Yoga, will take place on October 14th at Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort. As in previous years, the funds will be used to directly support breast cancer patients and their families, as well as to fund research.
