Your guide to Art Dubai!

Hey art lovers, guess what? Art Dubai is making a grand return in 2024 and it's shaping up to be an absolute creative fest!

Mark your calendars: March 1 to March 3. The scene? Madinat Jumeirah, where art meets awe. We're talking groundbreaking new commissions and first-time showings from world-famous artists. Imagine wandering through a wonderland of contemporary art, engaging talks, and thought-provoking programmes. Plus, performances, films, and activations that'll have you believing in the magic of art, community, and hope.

And for the young ones, get ready for the A.R.M. Holding Children’s Programme by Goa's very own artist, Sahil Naik. It's launching at the fair and then spreading its creative wings to over 100 schools and 15,000 students!

Everyone's invited! Tickets start at just Dhs100 for a day or Dhs180 for the full three-day event. And they're going live soon, so keep your eyes peeled.

Driving? No sweat – park for free at Dubai Police Academy, then hop on the shuttle bus or stroll to the fair. Art Dubai's artistic director, Pablo del Val, is promising a programme as diverse and vibrant as Dubai itself, celebrating artists from the Global South and more.

He says, "Dubai is all about reinvention, possibility, and opportunity," and we totally agree.

Now, for the cool stuff: Don't miss Heart Space by Canadian-Korean artist Krista Kim. Brought to you by Julius Baer, this digital installation is a heartbeat-connecting, immersive adventure. It’s like a visual meditation, with your heart rhythm transforming into hypnotic LED art. Talk about wearing your heart on a digital sleeve!

And for a touch of luxury, Piaget's showcasing some seriously swanky jewellery and watches in The House of Gold exhibition. It's a glittering tribute to high-end luxury.

So, grab your tickets and let's dive into the art-tastic world of Art Dubai. It's where heartbeats, creativity, and luxury collide!
