As we made our way over to he 31st floor of the V Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton, we couldn&rsquo;t help but feel excited about the latest addition to Dubai&rsquo;s ever-growing culinary scene.&nbsp;

A fun fact about Summer Place is that it had first opened its doors back in 1988 at the Metropolitan Hotel&ndash;making it one of the first Chinese restaurants in Dubai.&nbsp; 
 
 
Now, having opened up with a brand new look and in a brand new location, we were curious to see just how much the restaurant had actually changed over the past few decades.&nbsp;

With a trendy makeover and spectacular city views, it became immediately clear that Summer Place has come a long way since its first foray into Dubai&rsquo;s food scene.&nbsp; 
 
 
But it&rsquo;s not just the d&eacute;cor that&#39;s had a major update. We were delighted to find that the menu now offers an interesting mix of both authentic and contemporary Chinese delights.&nbsp; 
 
 
From house specialities such as wok fried lobster (our favorite!) to old-school dishes such as vegetable fried rice, there&rsquo;s plenty for foodies to explore at Summer Place.&nbsp;
