A Skyscraper in Space: Dubai announces new project!

Dubai has announced a new mind blowing megaproject that will take Dubai to new heights (literally). After conquering the lands, the city is expanding up and beyond, past the skies, into space! A skyscaper hanging upside-down off an asteriod, Dubai never fails to amaze the world!

Dubai is so stranger to infraustructure that ceases words from the world. The world's tallest tower, the largest mall and even the deepest pool, with any project Dubai aims for record breaking stories! Now, The Clouds Architecture Office has announced plans for an out of this world idea – a skyscraper hanging upside down from an asteroid, floating around the Earth's orbit and a comfortable living space for Dubai's residents.

The Analemma Tower, unlike your everyday towers being built from the ground up, it would be built from an asteroid down with the help of a high-strength cable and could hang anywhere in the world!

The asteroid skyscraper would rely on the earth’s orbit and return to the same place in the sky each day between the northern and southern hemispheres and people would not be able to go outside without a protective suit. The Clouds Architecture Office commented on the viability of the project with full confidence stating, “Going back to the earliest known structures, we can see a clear pattern emerging. We are in the process of dislodging ourselves from the planet’s surface.”

The proposed Analemma Towers represents the radical shift in way we think about buildings. Expected to measure 32,000 feet, if completed the Analemma Tower would over take the Burj Khalifa as the world's tallest tower which now stands at 2720 feet tall.  This new feat could change the way city skylines look around the world.
