An evening at Three Cuts Steakhouse & Bar: The laid-back luxury experience

Heart-warming. Exhilirating. Exquisitely Appetizing...in just a few words, the taste left in our mouths after last night at Three Cuts.

Three Cuts Steakhouse & Bar (also turns Speakeasy, after-hours!) is the latest buzz in Dubai! A blend of sophistication yet high-end simplicity fuse between the tastes, interiors and community that is Three Cuts today, mounting the rooftop of Nakheel Mall, The Palm.

This is the laid-back luxury experience you are craving to be part of, and the who's who of Dubai's F&B world have already jumped head first to get the real Three Cuts flavor. This is the latest venture of pionnering father-son duo; Joe & Jason Bassili. Congratulations sirs, it was an exhilirating moment being part of the opening and we're about to tell you all about it!

Upon our arrival, we were welcomed so warmly into the Speakeasy bar & lounge that serve as an enticing waiting room as they prepped our table. The retro-glam inspired déco with the dim lights made our cocktails session feel like an interesting pre-game where excitement builds up for what's about to come. We tried the Espresso Martini, Three Cuts Signature Martini & Momocello. Delectable and refreshing. We were eager, amusingly, to be seated! The cocktails menu features a wide selection of Timeless Classics & Signature Cocktails - to be had, two at a time.

As we basked in the refined ambience filled with the laughter and murmurs of chit-chatting, happy guests around us, we were comfortably seated on a couch-cornered table with beautiful huge paintings above our heads decorating the wall behind us - we always appreciate an artsy touch. Our waiters were delightful and extremely accomodating assisting us immediately with what we already expected to be mouth-watering.

We savored the Raw Menu in its entirety: fabulous and fresh! The Beef Tartare, Salmon Tartare & Beef Carpaccio tasted divine. The Beef Tartare was our unanimous favorite!

We also had the Warm Goat Cheese Salad and this was a first for some of us tasting golden-crusted goat cheese; so crispy and delicious laying on a bed of grilled peach, orange and lettuce drizzled in honey rosemary dressing. The melted cheese melted our hearts along with it. But that was just the warm-up.

Are you ready for the fireworks? Time has come for the main event, the Meat Cuts. Sadly for us, the Tenderloin had already run out and can you blame them? This must-be one good cut to be sold-out; we'll have a go at it next time!

The Three Cuts Beef Striploin & Ribeye Steak redefined our love for meat. We like those medium-rare please!

This is what quality ingredients are made of; magical tenderness that creates a roll-your-eye moment with every bite. The sides were also well-garnished, well-roasted and well-mashed to compliment the meat. The Red Wine & Peppercorn sauces were adequately mixed without stealing the thunder of the cuts. To make up for the Tenderloin, we had the stellar 3 Lamb Chops with Rosemary Mashed Potato

We had to have something off the grill after all and this was quite the opportunity. As we finished our mains and downed our Conti Buneis Barber red wine glasses, we finished our feast on an oh-so sweet note.

Trust us when we say there's nothing the Red Fruit Cheesecake & Golden Chocolate Mousse at Three Cuts can't fix.

The music was to-say-the-least entertaining and setting the mood on-point, there was a Date Night vibe in the air with the selection of Romantic tunes and Love Oldies which seems to be a recurrent theme for upcoming Wednesdays at Three Cuts but it was also nicely-balanced with funky and Disco remixes which are at the base of Three Cuts' Soul and House soundtracks.

We cannot wait to be back - go treat yourself to this must-have Steak experience. Everything was truly superior from A to Z!
