11 restaurants in Dubai have received Michelin stars in Dubai!
Two restaurants, Il Ristorante and Stay, were awarded 2 stars while 9 other Dubai restaurants were awarded one star and 14 other Dubai restaurants were recognised as 'Bib Gourmand'. 44 were selected to be a part of the part of Dubai Michelin Guide and one got a Green Star for sustainable gastronomy.

Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the Michelin Guide said: "This very first Dubai selection of restaurants marks a historical moment for the Michelin Guide and the Middle East.”
One of the Dubai restaurants that have received the 2 stars was the Italian restaurant in Dubai Il Ristorante, the second Dubai restaurant to be awarded was Stay by Yannick Alleno in Palm Jumeirah.

The Dubai restaurant awarded the one-star are: 11 Woodfire by Akmal Anuar, Al Muntaha, Armani Ristorante, Hakkasan, Hoseki, Ossiano, Tasca by Jose, Chef Massimo Bottura's Torno Subito and Tresind Studio in Dubai.
The Dubai restaurants awarded with the Bib Gourmand are Al Khayma, Brasserie Boulud, Hlemed, Bait Maryam, Fi'Lia, Folly, Goldfish, Ibn Albahr, Indya by Vineet, At Kinoya, Ninive, Orfali Bros, REIF Japanese Kushiyaki, Shabestan and Teible.
