It’s time to drink your way into the cooler season, people!
Now that one of our favorite spots in the city, The Irish Village, has announced the return of the long-running Hopfest and Oktoberfest, we’re all geared up to celebrate the end of summer!
If you’ve been in Dubai long enough, you’ll know exactly why we can’t wait for the two-day Hopfest that takes place each year at the Irish pub in Garhoud.
Taking place on Thursday, September 12th from 6pm onwards, expect plenty of live music, entertainment and of course, hops the whole night.
With more than 80 types of brew being offered this year, make sure you don’t miss out on their selection of creatively mixed drinks as well.
For those who can’t make it on Thursday, the festival continues on Friday, September 13 starting from 12pm.
Entry is absolutely free and you’ll find some pretty amazing deals on drinks too – four drinks and one dish will set you back AED 175, or go all out with ten drinks and one dish for AED 350.
Once Hopfest is over, you can look forward to Oktoberfest the following week from September 18 to 21. Starting from 7pm onwards, enjoy authentic german food and drinks all night long – oh, and there’s also the ‘Official German Oktoberfest Band’ that’ll take center stage at the fest.
