Nestled in the heart of contemporary beachside retreat Jumeirah Al Naseem is KAYTO, the signature restaurant renowned for its exotic blend of Peruvian and Japanese ‘Nikkei’ cuisine. With the combined efforts of the restaurant team, KAYTO launched in 2019 to great success and was eventually placed seventh in Esquire’s 50 Best Restaurants in the Gulf 2021.
At the helm is Chef Cristian Goya, his grandparents sailed from Japan to Argentina with nothing. They quickly became part of a vibrant immigrant community in Buenos Aires and eventually established a thriving horticultural business. This endeavour has been an inspiration for Goya throughout his career. Since childhood, the young chef had an appreciation for quality food, shaped by two distinct cultural heritages. He took influences from both and combined them to create a unique and experimental cooking style.
The KAYTO team is multicultural, comprising 13 different nationalities whose main goal is the seamless operations of the restaurant ensuring the best service and experience for all their guests. They believe in strong leadership and exceptional values at the workplace with teamwork and communication at the heart of the operation. With the strongest bar team in the hotel consisting of talented mixologists and bartenders, KAYTO is touted as among the most happening locations in Dubai.
The effortlessly cool and oh-so chic signature restaurant promises a menu that is a showstopper. Starters include Salmon Tataki, Classic Sea Bass Ceviche, Crispy Rice & Spicy Tuna Tartare and Rock Shrimp Tempura. Followed by mains featuring Grilled Octopus with Anticucho Sauce, Marinated Sea Bass with Creamy Aji Amarillo Rice, and Saikyo Miso Black Cod. Seafood lovers can also indulge in KAYTO’s signature rolls including Soft Shell Crab, Spicy Tuna, Canadian Lobster & Unagi, all complimented with Japanese-inspired mixed beverages and live upbeat DJ sets.
