Attention Dubai residents, we feel your pain.
This morning, a famed Dubai news outlet posted a quick weather update warning all Dubai's residents to expect an unexpected thunderstorm by 2 PM today. The weather report claimed, "BRACE YOURSELVES FOR THUNDERSTORMS, EXPECTED TO ARRIVE AT 2 PM TODAY", in bright red letters and was soon followed by an onslaught of comments rejoicing with anticipation.

However, to our dismay, the clock strikes 2 PM and there wasn't a drop of rain in sight. Dubai has still to bestow us with rain and stormy weather in the middle of summer! But till that day comes, pivot your mood from thunder and rain to beachy days and sunny offers! Or better yet, if it *actually* does rain, seek refuge in Dubai's best indoor bars.
