The Michelin Guide has revealed 19 restaurants that made this year's cut for the list, and among them, FZN by Bjorn Frantzen and Trèsind Studio have made history as the first restaurants in Dubai to be awarded three Michelin stars! At last night's ceremony on May 22nd at the Address Sky View Dubai, they received the prestige with love, applause, and a resounding standing ovation.
With that said, Dubai is now host to two restaurants with three Michelin stars, three restaurants with two stars, two new restaurants joining the list of 14 one-star spots, and five new Bib Gourmand establishments. Dubai continues to set record-breaking moments in the culinary world and proves itself, once again, to be a master of the global culinary scene.
In a fittingly glamorous ceremony at the iconic Address Sky View, the event revealed 119 establishments, covering over 35 cuisine types in this year’s selection.
Gwendal Poullennec, the International Director of the Michelin Guide, professed his confidence in Dubai, saying, “I am very confident that Dubai will remain at the forefront of the global culinary stage, setting a new standard and delighting food lovers across the world.”
FZN by Bjorn Frantzen
European restaurant FZN by Bjorn Frantzen and a homegrown Indian fine dining restaurant, Trèsind Studio, are the first-ever in Dubai to be awarded the honor of three Michelin stars. FZN by Bjorn Frantzen is, remarkably, a new addition to the Guide, while Trèsind Studio earned a promotion from 2 stars to its current standing, making history as the first Indian restaurant in the world to earn the Guide’s highest accolade!
