Here are 2 Dubai favourites that made it to the World's 50 Best Restaurants 2025 list

The world's 50 best restaurants list has been revealed in a dashing ceremony in Turin, Italy, and it brings delightful news for all the food connoisseurs and gourmands in Dubai. 2 of the city's favourite dining spots, Trèsind Studio and Orfali Bros, have earned their spot on the list, with one of them being given the title of Best Restaurant in the Middle East!

With returning giants, new players, and globally renowned restaurants, it was a fierce battle and a highly anticipated event for the industry and food lovers all across the world. Dubai has asserted its rising culinary field once again, earning its place among the world's elite culinary destinations as two of its restaurants earned spots on the World's 50 Best Restaurants list.

Trèsind Studio landed at spot 27, and although down from its position last year at 13, it also earned the title of Best Restaurant in the Middle East!

A fusion-Indian restaurant with humble beginnings in a backroom of its sister restaurant, Trèsind, Chef Himanshu Saini has steered Trèsind Studio to its current position as one of the world’s most renowned Indian restaurants in less than a decade. Considered one of the best Indian fine-dining restaurants in Dubai and the birthplace of “innovative Indian cuisine.” Saini and his team take on a unique approach to India’s cuisine and guide diners through a nuanced yet approachable exploration of 17 dishes that tell the story of the country’s rich and diverse cultural, agricultural, and religious heritage. Served in four acts divided by geography and gastronomy, the menu varies from humble pani puri to the ceremonial Sadhya and a Studio version of a comforting curry.

Chef Himanshu Saini has had Trèsind Studio on a fast-track road to success with incredible achievements in the past 4 years.

Trèsind Studio shot to the headlines in 2022 when it made it onto both the debut MENA's 50 Best list at a resounding 4th place and the Middle East's first Michelin Guide, earning one star, before another in 2023 and a third this year. The road ahead seems bright for this homegrown venture, and we wish it the best of luck and many happy years to come!

Orfali Bros found themselves climbing the list significantly this year, going from 64 to spot 37!

A family-run eatery by Syrian brothers Omar, Mohamad, and Wassim, Orfali Bros is a creative and globally influenced Mediterranean spot. With 1 Michelin star and countless other recognitions, this is the latest badge of honour in their collection. Considered as the region’s most emblematic restaurant, the restaurant has a charming personality with a feel of home away from home, carefully crafted by the friendly and unpretentious charm of the 3 brothers.

Head Chef Mohamad Orfali incorporates ingredients, techniques, traditions, and influences from across the world into his own take on Arabic cuisine. Meanwhile, the two younger brothers, Wassim and Omar, stand one story above in a world of pastries. Both are classic pâtissiers in the French mould, but with contrasting approaches, leading to a stellar selection of pastries, buns, éclairs and desserts that pepper the menu.
