Right when we were planning to hit the outdoors again, news has emerged about a popular SZR rooftop bar having closed for good. 
 
One of the most grammable spots in the city, 40 Kong will not open for the new season and we can&rsquo;t help but wonder why. 
 
After all, it had everything we wanted in a rooftop bar &ndash; impressive Downtown views, a Mediterranean-themed menu and of course, delicious cocktails that were simply perfect for a night out in Dubai.

While no official confirmation has been given by the venue itself, a representative from H Hotel earlier revealed that 40 Kong would not be opening again. 
 
Perched high up on the H Hotel, the rooftop bar was a favorite among the movers and shakers of the city. 
 
We&rsquo;re curious to see which venue shall be replacing 40 Kong in the days or months to come.
