Thursday night just got a whole lot more exciting! Monkey Bar is introducing a new live music residency, Jay Abo and The Band, a collective of four celebrated musicians. Get ready to be swept off your feet with emotional resonance and sonic innovation set against the beautiful backdrop of Monkey Bar’s panoramic rooftop views!

Jay Abo and The Band are known for redefining genre boundaries and reshaping the live performance landscape in Dubai. Blending soul, indie, electronic, and jazz into a seamless, shape-shifting soundscape, the band crafts sets that move from stripped-back intimacy to electrifying improvisational highs inspired by the likes of Bon Iver and John Mayer.

Fronted by the soulful voice of Jay Abo—known for his vulnerable lyrics and captivating stage presence—the band features a powerhouse lineup: experimental guitarist Jerome Deligero, who has supported Jacob Collier; bassist and producer Steve Bedford of fusion trio Noon; and dynamic drummer Maksym Thoryk, whose jazz-meets-rock style drives their genre-defying sound.
