Dubai Fountain is shutting down for five months: is there a comeback?

 

 

Extending up to 275 metres and shooting water as high as 152 metres, two half-hour shows daily, over 22,000 gallons of water in the air, over a thousand visitors every day, illuminating Downtown Dubai with 6600 lights and 25 colored projectors...this is the iconic Dubai Fountains. So why is it shutting down?

 

The Dubai Fountain show, featured as one of the world's most beautiful sights, is about to be closed for a period of five months for renovations. The Dubai Fountain has an angelic presence as it resides at the center of Downtown Dubai exhibiting the world's largest choreographed fountain system, marveling every passerby and viewer.

 

 

 

 

Since its testing-inauguration in February 2009, the Dubai Fountain is shutting down operations for the first time. If you don't consider that COVID phase. Located in the heart of the Burj Khalifa Lake, this massive showcase illuminates Downtown Dubai redefining Dubai's spirit of innovation.
