Dubai announces first Al Mamzar floating pedestrian bridge & new 24/7 Jumeirah night beach!

A floating pedestrian bridge was announced, linking both sides of Al Mamzar beach & a new 24/7 Jumeirah night beach will be available as part of Dubai 2040 urban city plans.

Two of Dubai’s most popular beaches to be developed for dhs355 million as part of Dubai’s 2040 Urban Master Plan, aimed at making Dubai the best city to work, live and visit.

Al Mamzar Beach and Jumeirah 1 Beach will be revamped to include an 11 km cycling track and a 5 km running track, fitness activities and play areas and barbeque spots, making them among the most beautiful in the world.

The 200 meter long bridge will stretch over the water allowing pedestrians to explore without getting wet, making it the first of its kind in the Emirate.

This project also included Dubai’s first 24/7 night beach in Deira stretching 300 meters. The perfect place for those who want to take a late night dip.

Both beaches will be equipped with high-tech systems including advanced safety deposit boxes, wi-fi and AI- assisted beach rescue services ensuring the highest level of safety for beach goers.

In addition to this there are 50 new commercial outlets, restaurants, water activity rentals, and kiosks expected to complete the space. The project is expected to be completed in 18 months and both beaches will remain partially open during this period.

There will be 1,400 parking spaces for cars and buses, including dedicated charging stations for eco-friendly vehicle!
