Brunch "Rio De Beirut" review at Li’Brasil Address Beach Resort

If you ever wondered what would happen if a samba dancer and a belly dancer joined forces in the kitchen, wonder no more.

Brunch 'Rio De Beirut' at Li’Brasil is the gastronomic lovechild of Brazilian panache and Lebanese innovation, served with a side of sass and a sunset view that’ll make you swoon harder than a telenovela heartthrob.

The setting - Li’Brasil terrace, where the views are more stunning than a supermodel on a catwalk. You’re in for a treat too, because all the food and drinks come to you. That's right, no buffet battles here – just sit back, relax and enjoy.

The Appetizers:

We kicked things off with cold mezzes. First up, dibba bay oysters. Now, I know fresh-raw oysters can be as polarizing as pineapple on pizza, but trust me – a spritz of lemon, a dash of Tabasco, and these babies are *chef’s kiss* perfection. Next, the hummus beiruti and bulgur bel romman brought a taste of Beirut to our table, while the pineapple carpaccio with avocado, pome granate, and sumac dressing gave us a hint of Rio’s tropical flair.

The Warm-Up: Hot Mezze

Then came the hot mezzes, and oh boy, did things heat up. Coxinha brazileria (chicken croquettes) – crispy, golden bites of joy. Cheese cigars – think spring rolls but cheesier and infinitely better. Meat kibbeh with lemon mint – a harmonious blend of flavors. And falafel with tahini – classic, comforting, and absolutely necessary. The lamb and chicken kofta made an appearance too, and by this point, we were getting worried. So much food, and we hadn’t even reached the mains yet!

The Main Course:

Enter the churrasco meats: rump cap steak, lamb chops, prawns, and peri peri chicken, all grilled to perfection and served on skewers. Each bite was a smoky, juicy delight, carving its way straight into our stomachs. And let’s not forget the seafood paella, quite possibly one of the best ones I’ve tried in Dubai.

The Sweets:

Just when we thought we couldn’t eat anymore, dessert arrived (How could you say no?). A tropical fruit platter on crushed ice, featuring exotic beauties like dragonfruit and rambutan, looked almost too pretty to eat. Almost. There was also acai sorbet, chocolate mousse, rabanada (labneh foam with butterscotch), and a coconut tart ( a personal favourite). It was an avalanche of sweetness, and we were happy to be buried under it.

Brunch 'Rio De Beirut' at Li’Brasil is the perfect place to bring your friends, family, or that special someone. The terrace is a dream with its stunning views, and the whole served-to-table experience makes for a chilled, relaxing afternoon. Highly recommend it for a more relaxed brunch, with all the perks and none of the brunch chaos.
