As tradition wills, every first Monday of May of each year, this most prestigious & glamorous fashion fundraiser held for the benefit of the Costume Institute of the Museum takes place, and Vogue puts on a theme that is so groundbreaking, it makes us itch to see what the very exclusive attendees will wear.

There's no place for mistakes on this runway – with entry tickets/per guest going got US$75000, celebrities spread their feathers like their life depends on it. Now that we've jogged your memory with the ABCs of this event, let's move on to the theme and the looks of this year's Met Gala.

The theme for the 2025 Met Gala is ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style’ — based on the style of Black men throughout history. Exploring the indelible style of Black dandies, from the 18th century through to the present day, that is the order of the night.

Fittingly so, Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, Anna Wintour and LeBron James will be the co-chairs. Reviving a tradition from years past, the 2025 Met Gala will also have a host committee, made up of André 3000, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Jordan Casteel, and 17 more members all delicately picked to represent the years theme.
