Ed Sheeran wows more than 60,000 fans on two nights of entertainment in Dubai

 

 

Did you catch Ed Sheeran's epic shows at The Sevens Stadium last weekend?

 

It was nothing short of legendary! The place was packed on both Friday and Saturday, with over 60,000 fans getting their minds blown away by Ed's incredible performances.

This wasn't just any concert – it was the biggest open-air gig Dubai has ever hosted. Ed Sheeran brought his A-game to the ‘+ - = ÷ x’ tour, making it a historic event in the city.

 

The setup was insane! Ed performed on this cool 360-degree stage, which was a first in the region. Imagine being surrounded by fireworks, flames, and Ed belting out hit after hit for two and a half hours straight. The energy was electric!

You could totally see how much fun Ed was having, especially when he sang ‘Castle on the Hill’, ‘Shivers’, and ‘Galway Girl’ – the last one had this amazing guest violinist who added to the magic.

 

And let's not forget about Calum Scott, who was the perfect opener with his new hit ‘Lighthouse’ and other crowd favorites like ‘Dancing On My Own’.

These shows, presented by All Things Live Middle East and AEG Presents, and supported by Dubai Calendar and Coca-Cola Arena, were Ed's first in the UAE since 2017. Talk about a long-awaited return! It was a weekend to remember, for sure!
