Sunkissed flavours of Latin America, coming right up!
Located in the heart of Downtown Dubai, Argentinian restaurant Asado offers age-old recipes and premium beverages to please the tastebuds of the gastronomes of Dubai.
Walking into the Argentinian restaurant in Dubai, you will be welcomed with dark woods, dim lights, a view of the chefs bustling in the kitchen, and the stunning alfresco dining area with an up-close backdrop of the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa. Opt for the charming wooden tables outdoors, for the view is quite unmissable. The indoor dining area highlights the main attraction: the ‘Parrilla’, the open grill over which age-old traditional dishes are prepared.
Known for its delectable selection of Argentinian meats, don't miss out on the delicious sides and desserts at this Downtown Dubai restaurant.
We started the Argentinian National Week celebration at Asado with one of Argentina's most iconic dishes: the Locro, a squash stew cooked with meat and beans, paired with fresh bread and the silkiest butter. A great starter that got our mouths watering for more.
After the Locro, get your senses ready for a fresh batch of Pareja De Empanadas served with a delicious dipping sauce to get your tastebuds ready for a feast. Pair this fantastic Argentinian starter with a glass of white wine and take in the Burj view right before you... simply divine.
Argentina is known worldwide for its high-quality beef. Taking into consideration that the word 'Asado' literally means grill or roast, this main course is why meat lovers need to check out this culinary gem in Dubai. Unleash your inner meat-lover at the sights of the beautifully cooked dish in front of you: the Argentinian Black Angus Striploin sitting on a bed of potato Gratin with herbs and Parmesan, accompanied by a creamy carrot Puree as well as a side serving of Chimichurri sauce. Succulent and tender!
We ended our culinary journey at Asado on a *very* sweet note. Bring on the Dulce de Leche!
For dessert, sweeten things up with the creamy Flan, a decadent Cream Caramel, Bread Pudding with Raisin, a delicious serving of the tastiest banana ice cream and a dainty Crepe stuffed generously with Dulce de Leche. This is the kind of sugary overdose that we invite!
All in all, the Argentinian National Week celebration at Asado was a hit! The rich flavours, the stunning view and the cosy intimate ambience of this Downtown restaurant are not to be missed.
