il Pastaio Trattoria - Redefining the authentic Italian dining experience. Walking into the A Entrance of the Mall of the Emirates on Monday morning, the dullness of the day was uplifted at the sunlit dining area of Il Pastaio Trattoria.
The inviting ambience of this Italian restaurant in Dubai was undoubted. The cosy leather furniture, the wooden and open space were refreshing... it made us a little hungry for the breakfast awaiting us.
As we made ourselves comfortable at the venue's outdoor seating, Bruno, our host at the Italian restaurant suggested the crème de la crème of the Breakfast menu which we could not resist. The options included Uova Alla Fiorentina, Leonardo, Michelangelo, & Raffaello; a diverse selection of the city’s signature brews including French Press, Kalita, V60, Chemex, & Aero press.
As recommended by our lovely host, we opted for the delicious Uova Alla Fiorentina and Uova Alla Benedettina. And the dishes did not disappoint...
With a side of a freshly brewed cappuccino, our morning meal was elevated into a culinary dream. Not only did the vibrant presentation of our dishes do the trick, but the exciting and warm flavours. The creaminess of the Hollandaise Sauce, the freshness of the mixed salad, the crunchiness of the green beans all combined with the rich flavour of the Taleggio Cheese really made us crave for more.
If you're in the mood for a sweet morning kick, we opted for the Mango Chia Seed Pudding. Guys, this dish is a must-try. The sweetness of the chia seeds drenched in coconut milk paired with the magical mango puree makes this dish simply irresistible. Don't forget to pick this one up, guys!
