This is an exciting moment, everybody!
We finally know where Las Vegas hotel brands MGM and Bellagio will be opening up in the city – and it’s so much bigger than we thought.
In case you haven’t heard yet, MGM had announced back in March 2017 about two big projects that are set to open in Dubai in 2021.
While the location was not revealed earlier, it has now been confirmed that the massive developments will be finding a home on Dubai’s The Island, off the coast of Umm Suqeim.
Architecture firm Brewer Smith Brewer Group (BSBG) had released a statement last month about the commencement of marine and enabling works on The Island.
Occupying 3.5 million square meters, the sprawling property will feature 1,400 hotel rooms and apartments in addition to 10 luxurious villas.
There’ll also be plenty of entertainment to look forward to with talks of a huge theatre also launching on the island – MGM will also bringing in some of their world-class acts for regular shows after its launch.
That's not all though. Talks of a ‘Cave of Wonders’ are also making the rounds with a whole series of sports and games being planned out for children and families.
Keep your eyes peeled for this one!
