Dubai Nightlife Celebrated in 2016 Hype Awards

If you love going out at night, and are in Dubai then Hype magazine have created a list of winners in various categories, so that you have the top venues and club nights at your fingertips. The best live venue was The Music Room at The Majestic Hotel, best ladies night was the She�s With Us night at Tribeca. If you enjoy a festival then Groove on the Grass at the Emirates Golf Club was rated the best in Dubai. Dubai is lucky to play host to many home grown and international music stars, but gig of the year honours were given to the Florence and the Machine concert at du Arena. We are also blessed with some great bars, McGettigan�s at the Bonnington Hotel won bar of the year, with The Pub Inside Stereo Arcade at DoubleTree by Hilton winning best new bar.

If you like to party by the beach then Blue Marlin at Ghantoot Al Jazira Island Hotel won best beach venue and best club award went to Cirque Le Soir at The Fairmont Hotel.

If house and techno is more your thing then Plus Minus at Level 41, at the Media one Hotel won best house and techno night, with Hip Hop Chic Mondays at Cirque Le Soir coming in first for a banging urban night. If you want to pump up the bass, then Karak Beats at Velocity at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel will be right up your street.

Other mentions went to Deep Crates Cartel who play at different venues, Octave One at Analog Room�s Finest Friday for an eclectic international set, and Carl Chaka of House of Afrika/Infusion for outstanding contribution to local music, with Bootleg Social being voted best record label. Moe Turk won accolades for being the best producer, and best local band went to Carl & The Reda Mafia. If DJ�s get you going, then Frederick Stone was voted best DJ, and Bachir Salloum won best breakthrough DJ.
The Hype awards just serve to highlight the varied and exciting nightlife that is in Dubai, with something to suit every taste.
