All you little monsters in the UAE, you better be prepared for this: Lady Gaga wants to give you the show of a lifetime.
In an interview with Chanel maestro Karl Lagerfeld for the latest Issue of Harpers Bazaar USA, the pop star discusses her upcoming debut in the Middle East and what she wants to do when she heads to Dubai for her September concert.
Im very excited to go there, see my fans, give them the show of a lifetime. And, of course, I must explore the local designers and go shopping!, she tells Lagerfeld.
Interviewee Lagerfeld tells her: I hope you like it. I loved it when I showed the Chanel Dubai collection there, referring to his star-studed 2014/15 Chanel Cruise collection showcase in the city in May.
Besides their mutual love for Dubai, the pair also discuss Gagas ArtRave: The Artpop Ball tour, and its seven-month schedule.
Asked if she had different looks planned for different cities, Gaga says there are no particular looks planned for this one.
I bring lots of vintage pieces with mejewels, hats, bagsand Im also very fortunate to get sent beautiful couture and runway looks all over the world, she says. I just wear what makes me feel good for the day. Right now Im enjoying feeling like a lady. Wearing dresses, in love, walking Asia (her French Bulldog) in gardens, singing jazz with Tony Bennett.
Gaga and Bennett last week made official their long-in-the-works album project. To be called Cheek to Cheek, the album will feature a collection of jazz numbers, and will be out on September 23.
