Julia Novikova, who hails from St. Petersburg, is an Opera singer and has performed at a number of locations and festivals around the west and is coming to the east with her first performance here in Dubai. She has won both the 1st Prize and the Audience Prize at Operalia 2009 Pl�cido Domingo The World Opera Competition in Budapest and is quoted by Pl�cido Domingo himself as being an emerging star and an excellent soprano.
Julia will be accompanied by the skilled Semjon Skigin. The professor is the artistic director of the Theatre Barge Music Festival in Dresden. The World Classical Music Series aims to bring classical music to the sands of Dubai and this is one of many of their shows.
