REVIEW: EVERY SUNDAY AT O DUBAI, THE SUSHI LOVERS DREAM!

Sushi lovers in Dubai who love to party, O Dubai - Lounge & Club heard you loud and clear!

It's no surprise that we all have a soft spot for a fantastic maki roll dipped generously in soy sauce. Pair that with a whole Sunday night out in Dubai at Voco Hotel's top tier party station, and we are in for a treat!

If O Dubai is known for anything, it is for having a fabulous time! We proved it by exploring O Dubai's AFRO-POP Wednesdays Review, we just had to dig our sushi-loving teeth into O Dubai's Every Sunday offer where unlimited sushi and house grapes come together! 


AMBIENCE:





Stepping into O Dubai, the glittery ceiling that shines brighter than the stars immediately sets the tone to how the night is going to go! The wall-size windows that offer a sensational backdrop of Sheikh Zayed Road against plush velvet seats provide the perfect setting for buckle in and let the trendy beats at O Dubai take control! The dim lighting only turned bright when the flashing neon lights showered O Lounge's guests with shades of pink and blue.

DRINKS:





Joseph, our gracious host, recommended the most instagrammable (...and delicious!) gin-based cocktail! We sipped on the crimson drink and noticed the stylish brigade of vibrant individuals smoking shisha, grooving to the beat of O Dubai's drum as they teased their senses with the delicious sushi platters in front of them!



THE SUSHI!





Once the tempo of the Dubai venue pumped even stronger, the divine sushi selections made our way! A full-on decked out 'ship-shaped platter made its way to our table! With dry ice flowing down the sides, the sushi presentation called us to pull our phones out and catch the instagramable moment in all its O Dubai glory! The sushi selections consisted of:

YASAI ROLL
Vegetarian sushi rolled with carrot, asparagus, avocado, cucumber, Japanese mayo, teriyaki and sesame seeds. Serve with Japanese soy sauce, wasabi and sushi ginger.

CALIFORNIA ROLL
rolled maki roll with sushi rice, crab stick, mango, Tamago, Japanese mayo and orange tobiko. Serve with Japanese soy sauce, wasabi and sushi ginger.

PRAWN STAR MAKI
Deep-fried maki roll with Japanese mayo, avocado, spicy prawn mix, spicy mayo and prawn. Serve with Japanese soy sauce, wasabi and sushi ginger.

CRAZY MAKI
Deep-fried maki roll, sushi rice, fresh salmon, avocado, togarashi, Japanese mayo, passion fruit mayo and serve with Japanese soy sauce, wasabi and sushi ginger.

VOLCANO ROLL
Rolled sushi rice with fresh tuna, cucumber, mix chopped fresh salmon and crab stick. garnish with spicy mayo, teriyaki and tanuki. Serve Japanese soy sauce, wasabi and sushi ginger.


We enriched our senses with O Dubai's mouthwatering sushi selection as the cocktails kept coming!





To end the night in style, we witnessed live entertainment from the amazing Ayesha Reid! The stylish and powerhouse vocalist that she is, she belted her out impressive vocals to our favourite hits all night, elevating the O Dubai mood into the late hours!

O Dubai is one of Dubai's ultimate nightlife experiences! The proof is in the sushi.
