COVID-19 PANDEMIC: WILL DUBAI FOLLOW BAHRAINS LEAD AND GO INTO LOCKDOWN?

Bahrain's has moved into a strict lockdown and has closed down all eat-in restaurants and cafes, as well as moved all schools into remote learning for the next 3 weeks!

The decision was passed due to the total positive cases in Bahrain moving into 100,000 positive COVID-19 cases in total. This lockdown has been put to place from Sunday onwards, due to the Ministry of Health declaring a new variant of the Coronavirus, but there is no word for which one.

With this drastic announcement in Bahrain pertaining to a COVID-19 lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will Dubai be seeing a likely lockdown too?



The UAE has seen a stark rise of postive COVID19 cases of upto 3000 a day. The last time the country witnessed this kind of surge in cases, the UAE went under a strict curfew and lockdownDubai has already placed updates on the COVID-19 rules in the city, where entertainment in restaurants and hotels as well as non essential surgeries have been suspended.
